            Banana chia pudding

 

This year we went skiing in Austria in the Alps and eating vegan there is a little difficult.

So I simply brought my own things with me.

Everyday my sister and I made  our own breakfast and after noticing that, our host became really interested and asked us what we were eating there. And we introduced her to those little power seeds, chia seeds, which you probably already know very well!

Chia pudding is one of my all time favorites, simple, tasty and it gives you superpowers for the whole day!

 

 

 

 

 

This chia pudding is so wonderful, because you can prepare it and eat it right away, in contrast to other common chia puddings which need to soak for some hours. Of course it isn't  wrong if you let this one sit as well, but you don't need to. The reason is the banana which gives your pudding the creaminess. So if you feel like having chia pudding, just go and prepare one of these banana chia puddings!

Chia and banana is the perfect power combination and can definitely be your fuel for a great ski day! And it is so much more delicious than any breakfast you might get as a vegan when staying at a mountain hut.

We had wonderful weather, blue sky and sun. The snow was good and we had lots of fun.

But it is important to take care of yourself and take your survival kit with you sometimes!

 

Banana chia pudding

(one serving)

 

Ingredients:

 

1 banana

1/2 cup plant milk

3 tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla

 

Procedure:

 

1.Mash the banana with a fork.

2. Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl. If it's too creamy add some extra plant milk.

3. Fill the banana chia pudding in a jar and take it with you or enjoy it immediately.
