Easy chia pudding and smoothie breakfast idea


I really like to make my breakfasts in a jar. Every single one looks like a little parfait, almost too beautiful to eat! As well you can simply close it, put it in the fridge and eat it later. Or you can even take your favorite breakfast jar with you when you are in a hurry.

I am keeping all the empty jars and in the meantime I am having a really big collection of them, but they are really useful. Not only for making breakfast, but also for making your salad dressing or storing your superfoods in them.

But of course, my favorite thing is to eat chia puddings with smoothies out of them.






This is a very nice breakfast idea, easy and quick to prepare. You can make the chia pudding the night before and the smoothie the other morning. Although I am layering the chia pudding and the smoothie, I am always mixing it through before eating! Mhh that's so yum! And nourishing and refreshing.

The chia pudding I am making here is the very basic chia pudding, with only some plant milk and the chia seeds. I found some hemp milk and tried it by making this chia pudding. This milk has a very strong taste, was good with the smoothie, but I would recommend to use oat milk or another kind of plant milk when eating the chia pudding without the smoothie.

The smoothie is a very fresh and fruity one and great on a summer morning!

Easy chia pudding and smoothie breakfast idea

(one serving)



 The chia pudding:

- 1/3 cup chia seeds

- 1 cup plant milk


The smoothie:

- 1 banana

- 1 orange

- 1 mango

- 1 tsp maca powder




1. The evening before mix the plant milk with the chia pudding. Stir it again after some minutes, then let it sit until the next morning.

2. Blend all the ingredients for the smoothie.

3. Layer the chia pudding and the smoothie, top with some more fruits and enjoy!
