            Green protein smoothie

 

Ah I love my green smoothies!

Especially when they are refreshing and creamy! I love to spoon them out of a bowl or a glass.

Green smoothies are a wonderful post running meal because they contain several very nutritious ingredients which are perfect for your body to refuel and to recover.

The smooth and liquid form of that meal makes it extra easy to use all nutritions properly.

This is definitely my favorite post running smoothie! It is  so fruity and delicious!

There is orange, apples and lemon inside, spinach for the green part, ginger to make it a little spicy, coconut water, as it is the perfect for dehydration, cinnamon for the extra taste, chia seeds for iron and many more minerals, and of course some YourSuperfoods green protein powder! This one is perfect for detoxing and strengthening your body. There is hemp protein, pea protein, spirulina powder, moringa powder and alfa alfa powder inside. What a wonderful mix! I topped the smoothie with some more hemp seeds for some extra protein!

This smoothie is great for refueling and only good for your body!

Green protein smoothie

(one serving)

 

Ingredients:

 

2 apples

1 orange

juice of one lemon

1 cup fresh spinach

1 piece ginger

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp YourSuperfoods Green Protein Powder

1/2 cup coconut water

optional: cinnamon

for topping: hemp seeds

 

 

Procedure:

 

1. Place all ingredients in your food processor and pulse until everything is well combined!

2. Top with some hemp seeds!
