Herbal lemon salad dressing


The first time I made that dressing was on New Year’s Eve.

I spent New Year with all my best friends, celebrating, having fun and dancing the whole night long. New Year’s Day was a wonderful day! The sun came out and I spent the morning talking with my girls. Later we prepared lunch together, we made spaghetti and a big bowl full of salad. I made the dressing and used what I could find in my friend's kitchen and came up with that herbal lemon dressing.







That dressing is super fresh and would make a perfect summer salad dressing, but it works at every occasion I guess.

Especially the lemon makes it so fresh, the herbs give it its taste and I also added some apple cider vinegar for the extra twist.

For a long time I never had lemon with my salad, but since I discovered it for me, there is no salad without a dizzle of lemon anymore! It really makes your salad special tasty and alive. And of course it also gives an extra vitamin C boost!

I also like the dressing's shining yellow color that matched the sunshine on that day perfectly.

All in all it's a bright and tasty dressing that makes a perfect salad complete!


Herbal lemon salad dressing

(for a 30/20 cm baking pan)




juice of 1 lemon

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp water

salt and pepper

basil , oregano, rosemary, chili flakes





1. Squeeze the lemon.

2. Mix all ingredients in a jar an shake well.

3. Enjoy with your salad. You can safe that dressing in your fridge up to one week.
