I am absolutely in love with my acaí powder from Terra Elements! The powder is made from 100% pure acaí berries and freeze dried. It's organic and has a deep purple color. Its taste is a little chocolaty and wonderful in smoothies. Acaí berries are full of antioxidants, vitamins, calcium and iron. The perfect health booth. Since I am having this powder I am making an acaí bowl for breakfast almost every second day. It's just so good and refreshing.
My smoothies are never the same because I always like to try out new combinations or I am just throwing together what's left in my fridge. So that's why also my acaí bowls always taste a little different.
But this Saturday's was especially delicious and so I wrote the recipe down for you.
This Saturday I went for a nice run in the forest and made a smoothie bowl afterwards. That's how most of my Saturdays start.
After a run a smoothie tastes especially good. I am always craving something fresh, fruity and nourishing. Nothing better than an acaí bowl in this case.
I made this one with banana and apple as base. I like some orange and lemon in my smoothie for some extra vitamins and freshness. And it's wonderful in combination with berries. I used frozen raspberries because they're so sweet. I added the acaí powder and maca powder, some soy milk and tahini plus cashews for some extra creaminess.
This acaí bowl had such a nice color and looked even more beautiful with all the toppings. I added banana, kiwi, more frozen raspberries, pomegranate seeds, cashews, grapes, hemp hearts and coconut chips.
It also matched with the beautiful flowers I got from my grandma!
Now it's time for you to try this delicious bowl, I hope you like it!
